Shropshire’s Academy side will begin their 2026 season with an away match against Wales National County (North) at Brymbo Cricket Club on Sunday, May 17 (11am).
It’s one of four 50-over white ball friendlies organised for the county’s up and coming cricketers this summer.
The three other 50-over games will all take place during July, beginning with a fixture against the Shropshire County Cricket League representative side at Whitchurch Cricket Club on Sunday, July 5 (11am).
It will be followed a few days later by an away match against Worcester University’s 1st XI at Ombersley Cricket Club on Wednesday, July 8 (11am).
Shropshire Academy will close a busy month with an away fixture against Cheshire Academy at Bowdon Cricket Club on Wednesday, July 22 (11am).
A red ball timed game against the MCC will complete the season for Shropshire Academy on Thursday, August 6 (11.30am), with the match to be played at Oswestry Cricket Club.
