Shrewsbury’s Lewis Evans will captain Shropshire’s Academy side in Sunday’s 50 overs per side friendly against Wales National County (North) at Bomere Heath Cricket Club (11am).
Evans, who has played regularly for Shropshire’s first team this season, is joined in the side by three more players – Seb Scott, Luke Thornton and David Laird – who have also played first-team cricket for Shropshire.
All 12 players selected will feature in Sunday’s game, with one of the Shropshire Academy players not batting.
