Andre joined Shropshire ahead of the 2022 season and made an immediate impact in the NCCA Twenty20 group matches, scoring 230 runs at an average of 46, including a half century on his debut against Cheshire at Oxton.

The top order batter plays for Swarkestone in the Derbyshire Premier League and is also a National League hockey player.

Andre was born in South Africa where he played provincial cricket and hockey at youth level. He is a UK citizen who trialled with other National Counties clubs before joining Shropshire.
