The experienced right-arm seamer, the leading wicket-taker in the Birmingham League for the 2022 season after his exploits with the ball for Barnt Green, joined Shropshire ahead of the 2023 campaign.
He made his debut for the county in the NCCA T20 double-header against Northumberland at South Northumberland CC in May, taking 3-14 from his four overs as Shropshire won the day’s second match.
Andy joined the MCC Young Cricketers scheme before signing for Somerset. He has also played for Herefordshire and Wiltshire.
Andy was appointed Warwickshire CCC’s hew head high performance coach for its pathway programme earlier this year following many years on the coaching staff at Worcestershire CCC.
