An all-rounder who initially played white ball cricket for the county before securing a place in the Championship side.

David is a hard-hitting middle order batter and right-arm seamer.

He made his Shropshire debut in a T20 match against Berkshire in May 2018 before also facing Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire in the same format that season.

His Championship debut was against Herefordshire at Shifnal in July 2021.

David’s maiden half-century for Shropshire came against Staffordshire in the NCCA Trophy at Oswestry in June 2021, an unbeaten 58, as he shared an unbroken partnership of 110 with Matty Simmonds.

His first 50 in Championship cricket arrived in July 2022 when he made 55 in the first innings against Wiltshire at Corsham.

David, who started his club cricket career at Newtown, joined Bridgnorth ahead of the 2022 season, the second time he has signed for the club.

He has also had two spells with Shrewsbury-based Sentinel and played for Oswestry.
