James is a hard-hitting top order batter and wicketkeeper who plays for Knowle & Dorridge having also played for Walsall.

He has previous county experience with Staffordshire and has also played 2nd XI cricket for Leicestershire.

James joined Shropshire ahead of the start of the 2023 season.
