A left-arm spinner and expansive top order batter, Peter made his first team debut for Shropshire in the NCCA T20 competition at Northumberland in May 2023.

He played in the day’s second match at South Northumberland CC and took 2-14 from four overs, claiming his first wicket when he bowled home captain Stuart Poynter, the former Durham and Ireland wicketkeeper.

His Championship debut followed two months later against Wales NC at Brymbo when he opened the batting for Shropshire with Andre Bradford.

A regular member of Shrewsbury’s Birmingham League team, Peter was previously with Worcestershire’s Academy and also used to play for Shrewsbury School’s 1st XI.

He is currently a student at Loughborough University.
