The right-handed batter and wicketkeeper has a career-best Shropshire score of 117 against Devon at Shrewsbury in 2016.
He memorably put on 265 with Steve Leach for the second wicket, a county record, at London Road.
One of the livewires in the county dressing room, Hereford-born Ryan returned to Bridgnorth to play his club cricket, his second spell at the club, from Oswestry ahead of the 2022 season.
He has also previously played for Ludlow, Whitchurch and Halesowen.
Ryan made his Shropshire debut in 2010 against Oxfordshire at Great & Little Tew, with his first appearance in one-day cricket against Cheshire at Oxton in 2017.
