Shropshire’s Academy team play their opening match of the season this coming Monday, May 13, a Twenty20 fixture away to Shrewsbury School’s first team.
Matt Kenvyn will captain the Academy side in a match starting at 5.30pm.
Academy coach Ed Ashlin said: “We’ve gone with a slightly younger side with a few of our Shropshire under-18s selected.
“This is a good opportunity for them against a strong Shrewsbury School team.
“It’s another good chance for the players to play a competitive early-season fixture.”
