Shropshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce a new family membership scheme ahead of the 2024 National Counties Cricket Association season starting in April.
Unlimited family members can become club members for a cost of £30 per annum.
The figure is discounted to £25 for family members whose sons or daughters are current members of the Cricket Shropshire Boys and Girls Pathways, or who have been so during the last two years.
John Hulme, Shropshire CCC chairman, said: “As a club, we are keen to grow the membership, particularly among the young, and encourage them to come and watch top recreational cricket when not playing themselves.
Annual subscriptions
“We are ever grateful to our members for providing vital financial support by way of annual subscriptions and we are committed to keeping subscriptions to a minimum as far as possible, despite the increased running costs of the club.
“We are pleased to confirm that individual subscriptions will remain at the long-standing sum of £20 per annum.”

Chris has succeeded the long-serving Albert Barkley as Shropshire CCC’s membership secretary and will also be responsible for the club’s new online shop.
John added: “Our special thanks go to Albert for his trojan service over many years, for which the county club is greatly indebted. We wish him well in his retirement.”
