Shropshire County Cricket Club’s AGM has been delayed and put back until the new year owing to the current Covid-19 restrictions.
It was hoped it would be possible for the AGM to be held ahead of December 15, but it is now scheduled to take place early in 2021.
The date has yet to be confirmed.
Shropshire CCC secretary Richard Lees said: “The constitution of the club states that we should normally hold the AGM by December 15, but for obvious reasons circumstances have not allowed that to happen this year.
“It is our intention to hold the AGM as soon as the lifting of restrictions allows in the new year.
“However, in the event that it’s still not possible for the AGM to take place by the end of March, our intention is that it will be dealt with alternatively by post to keep our members updated.”
