Shropshire face the camera ahead of 2023 season – but wet weather means there’s no play against Cheshire

The Shropshire team faced the camera ahead of what was scheduled to be the opening NCCA matches of the 2023 season, two T20 fixtures against Cheshire at Shifnal Cricket Club, but the wet weather unfortunately meant no play was possible on Sunday.

Shropshire will hope for better luck with the weather as they look forward to a busy weekend of T20 cricket over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The county face Staffordshire twice at Leek Cricket Club on Sunday, before hosting Cumbria in two T20 contests at Wem Cricket Club on Monday (11am starts on both days).
